These are a few of my recent art journal sketches. Im trying to plan out a couple of new paintings. My aim is to add more meaning and depth to my work, challenge myself and push my boundaries a little. Recently I've moved to acrylics, I find them great for working quickly and on a small scale but I'm keen to move back to oil paints. I would also like to try them out on pine board instead of canvas.

Creme Dream

Ive made myself a new skirt from an adorable creme fabric that is adorned with little golden embroidered flowers and a soft wavy edge. My girly gathered mini sits snuggly on my waist and fastens with pearly buttons that run all the way down the back.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2

I love CLAMP! They have given me Chobits, Tsubasa and now Code Geass. Beautiful animation, amazing characters and an intense story. It is a must see.
The end credits for Code Geass R2 are jam packed with CLAMP's dramatic illustrations. They are so inspiring, my head is buzzing with new ideas.

Wednesday's Findings

I had a quick rummage though my local antique store and bloom hill op shop today. As usual i came home with everything but what i was looking for.

I cant wait to turn these pieces in to something new.
