Swing Tags and New Projects

Just finished making my new swing tags.
I have used a dusty pink embossed card.
Think I may go on a hunt for a corner rounder, loving rounder corners right now.

Latest project- hand painted eye brooch.
Today I'm going to make some more of these, each one will have an individual eye colour. I'll also be giving them a coat of laquer soon.

Anyone else got some creative plans for the weekend?

Art That Inspires Me- silversaga

I found silversaga's photography through flickr. I love her work it's so light and dreamy.
Her rooms series is also really amazing, very eerie with its ghosty whisps.

I'm really loving these soft blues and pinks at the moment, going to go and hunt down some soft dreamy fabrics.

Leather Bow Brooches And Barrette's

I've just started making these little leather bows. I made some small and some large, some as brooches some as barrette's. I am also going to make them as shoe clips (as soon as the clips arrive in the mail).

Art That Inspires Me- Liza Corbett

Liza Corbett  is an amazing artist who I stumbled across recently through flickr. Her drawings are beautiful yet eerie.
There is a strong use of line in Liza's work that attracts me, it gives her images a sense of drama. The colours and imagery are just amazing! She is a very tallented artist and I find her work very inspirational.

Twiggy Dreamscapes

Patrick Dougherty's twig construtions are magical! He combines his carpentry skills with his love of nature to create these amazing installations.

I love them they are just so surreal, I wish I could live in one.

Do they remind you of the twig fort from Where The Wild Things Are?
I watched the movie the other day, it was so beautiful.
