I am totally hooked on the new MMO Tera. It has such an immersive combat
system and some of the most beautiful graphics i have seen. Not to
mention the cutest characters. The Elin race are just so adorable. So if your looking for a new game to play i highly recommend checking this out (。◕‿◕。)

I Love Books
Im playing with watercolours at the moment. I love how soft and quick they are to work with.
The weather has been very gloomy. Continuous rain and a strong wind that howls through the building. So I'm huddled up on the couch watching Charmed, dreaming of pretty things and chocolate pudding pie.

Handpainted Accessories
I have been busily collecting supplies, scribbling down ideas and experimenting. As always I have far too many half finished pieces. But I'm perfecting my processes and working toward new ideas.
Things are happening in twos at the moment.
Wood is my material of choice.
And for some reason I can only find one of each sock.
Somewhere between the moments that I'm running around like crazy and avoiding my work I have managed to finish a few pieces. My doll face pendants, eye brooches and cameo twins. I've also started a new painting which I'll post another time.

Today
Today was just another average day. It was gloomy, cold and I still felt sick but I was determined to try and make the best of it. I've been procrastinating so much lately so I thought I'd try get some painting done. This is the fruit of my labour.
It's an acrylic painting of one of my drawings that I did the other day. I love how it turned out.
During my vintage hunting I've been collecting a few cute frames. I thought this one suited well so the two have been partnered up.

Masked Stranger
Ive been trying to work on that mask I started a couple of weeks ago.
This is my progress so far.

Its hard to see in the photos but there is some pink around the eyes. I'd like to take back some of the black and add more pink, maybe brighten up the pink a bit more too. I also want to add some creme patches here and there. There's a lot more work to be done before its finished and to be honest I'm not sure if i want to use it anymore...
What do you think?

Limbo
I feel as though I'm stuck in limbo lately. I'm in the midst of my first move and just don't know what to do with myself. Its hard for me to be productive with out making a big mess and mess is the opposite of what i need right now. So I've stopped sewing until I'm in my new place. I know that's silly especially since i just got a new over locker but I just cant be comfortable and in the zone when half my belongings are packed away in boxes.
Instead I've been framing some pics I'd like to hang on my new walls.
This is one of my paintings, I found this frame ages ago and though it a perfect match but never could be bothered to unite the two.
This is a cute little poster I got with an issue of my favorite magazine Frankie.
I have also started on that mask I was ranting about. I think the base is almost finished, I might just bring out the cheeks and brow a little more. Over all I'm quite happy with it so far.
What do you think?
Another crazy idea I've come up with recently is some hand painted brooches and fridge magnets. I just had a little much around the other night and painted these two.
Good idea or bad idea?
I seem to enjoy painstakingly small projects.

Even though Ive stopped sewing for a couple of weeks I'm still planing new garments to create and collecting up new fabrics. I had a quick wander through the local vintage shops and collected up some new fabrics to work with. I have this really cute skirt planned out with little embroidered pockets.
During my browsing I spied this amazing picture hanging on the wall, I had never seen anything as cute before so I just had to buy it. Maybe she can hang up in my new sewing space and inspire me to create delicate little lacy things.
I hope you all have a wonderful week, time for me to get back to packing.

Two Hands
Brand new bangle design just painted today.
The design is based off one of my old paintings.
Two hands wrap around the bangle, lightly touching each other.
I have joined their wrists at the back where I plan to have some text.
But what to write? Im really not sure.
If you have any sugestions I would love to hear them!
If I cant come up with anything I will leave it blank for the buyer to personalise.
I think this my even be better as it will make the bangle more meaningful to its owner.
Let me know what you think : ).

Whispering Wind
Hand painted wooden bangle
At Spotlight last week I came across these plain wooden bangles and thought them perfect to turn into mini wearable art. This was my prototype, agonizing and tedious to paint but I am quite pleased with the outcome. Only just finished painting so it's still wet. When it dries i might fix up a few little bits and give it a good coat of varnish so the paint doesn't chip. Her face is actually cream but it comes up white in the photos.
What do you think? I might make a couple more and see if they sell. I'm also thinking of doing a few with text.
I have soo many ideas buzing around in my head at the moment but not enought hands to make it all with.
