My Fashion Design Portfolio

 

 As you may know these last few weeks I have been working hard on my portfolio to submit for entrance into a Bachelor of Fashion Design. It is finally finished and sent. I had a few problems at the last minute but I made it there. 

These are the 20 images that I submitted. They suggested a combination of sketches, book work, completed garments and other creative work. I am still stressed and not certain if I am completely happy with the finished result. But it is its too late to fuss now all I can do is hope for the best.

My fingers crossed, I really hope that I get accepted.

Fashion Sketches

I have been a buzzy bee recently. I am working hard at putting together a portfolio for my entrance into a Bachelor of Fashion Design. I really really want to be doing this course next year so I'm giving it my all. As a result Ive been neglecting my blog. But as I finish of my work I'll try take photos and post them.
So far I have completed two outfits, I will be starting the third tomorrow. As soon as I can I'll try get some decent photos of them.
I have also been working on some fashion illustrations, theres heaps of half finished ones that are still missing feet and things. To be honest I've always really worked straight from my head, skipping out the design sketches. So I working on developing my own style and I am quite happy with where its going. I wanted a combination of my love for fashion and my love for art. They still need to be coloured, but what do you think?

Dreaming of...

These last few weeks have been pretty chaotic and January just seems like one big 'to do list'.  But i will get through it all and try to enjoy myself in the meantime. 

On friday i should get my QTAC results (whether I got into University or not). I have to start packing to move out of home for the first time. Im turning 21 and everyone else seems to be having their birthday to. Its getting hard to keep up, hopefully i dont forget anyone. And last but not least, I desperately want to get my Etsy shop on the road.

In amongst all the chaos I have been spending way to much time sitting around surfing the net drooling over things I cant afford and neglecting my blog. So I thought that I would share a couple of the objects I have been dreaming of.
